At one point , Senua will ostensibly have to select between Astrior or Fargrimr , but the upshot of that choice are n’t open . The respectable news is , it ’s not really that heavy a deal , so you may pick whoever you want .

As noted above , there ’s no actual right or wrong pick you may make here . There are no major consequences from choose to save Astrior or Fargrimr here . In my playthrough , I went to Astrior who rejoice when she saw Senua , noting she did n’t think she ’d see her again .
before long after this , Senua notes that they need to find Fargrim , who you’re able to literally see on the other side of the lake . You ca n’t turn back around and go the other route across the river to see him , but if you just hold on down the way you rejoined Astrior , Fargimr will just be waiting for you where the two paths get together .

My version of this is that it ’s Senua ’s psychosis and the forest dally tricks on her , making the pick seem like a bigger problem than it really is , and in turn , putting that worry onto us as the player .
Rest assured , though , you’re able to just pick whichever case you want and screw that nothing defective is going to happen to whichever you do n’t pick out to immediately regroup with .
