Not only are we get Black Doom as the remastered game ’s main villain , but we ’re also fancy the return of the Black Arms and related to transformations for Shadow .

SEGA showed off a fresh drone for Sonic x Shadow Generations during Summer Game Fest . It showed off a ton of things we already knew about the game , such as completely remastered graphics and a separate Shadow campaign . But buff were n’t prepared for the ultimate lifeform to grow alien wings .
These wing are a form of mutation from the Black Arms DNA Gerald Robotnik gathered from Black Doom , the leader of an alien species who once tried to capture Earth in Shadow The Hedgehog ( 2005 ) . That used to be the last and only time SEGA touched that part of Shadow ’s history until generation remastered .

And while Shadow did n’t really encompass his foreign desoxyribonucleic acid back in his secret plan , it looks like he does now .
Black Doom was also implied as his campaign ’s villain — a great nod to the fact that characters in Sonic Generations were seen to present huge opponent and enemy they ’ve overcome in the past tense . It ’s actually a admiration why Black Doom was n’t present in the original game .
