The Tortured Poerts Department : The Anthology , alongside being an absolute taste of an album championship , is also a second of a firecracker . It takes the human beings ’s biggest pop principal back into her more comfy , conversational vogue while taking aim at former flames . But , you ’re not here to listen to me try and critique Swift , you ’re here because at least some people out there seem to think that claim track ' Fortnight , ' featuring Post Malone , has something to do with Epic Games ' battle royale game , Fortnite . I am here to tell you that , no , it has nothing to do with it at all .
Where does my evidence to evoke that this is the case come in from ? Google Trends of course . It turn out that masses are specifically searching ' Fortnite Taylor Swift . ' Is this just a mere misspelling of the championship track ? Do the great unwashed want to know T Swift herself relish nothing more than grinding out a twosome Victory Royales in an evening ? The jury is out . But revere not , as I have put the study in to dissect a wholetwo sectionsof Fortnight ’s lyric to see if there ’s any meritoriousness to these claims .

Ok , so , maybe , maybeTaylor ’s a secret Avatar fan and she ’s just gutted nobody notice her sick new Aang pelt . Alas , the preceding lyrics seem to indicate a more or less deep meaning . Nevermind then .
Perhaps the biggest suggestion you could repoint to are those first two lines of the chorus .

Is this a hint that Taylor and boyfriend Travis Kelce enjoy nothing more than playing a bit of Duos on a slothful weekend ? The biggest tycoon couple in the humanity sprinting their way across the single-valued function , Travis nervously need Taylor if they ’re about to obtain themselves in the damaging purplish hue of the storm ? It make for a heavy visual image — they ’re just like us — alas , I do not think that is the case .
