assist Rusty retire in style !

One of the key customization features of Rusty ’s Retirement is the exercise set of five farms that you could pick out from . I ’ll take the air you through all five Rusty ’s Retirement farms and how they can be unlocked to customise your Rusty ’s experience .

Every farm unlock requirements in Rusty’s Retirement

Of the five farms in Rusty ’s Retirement , you begin with one and unlock the other four as you play the game . Several of the farms provide redundant benefits that make farming comfortable . I recommend research all of the alternative and choosing the one that appeals to you the most as your main farm . After all , the beauty of Rusty ’s Retirement is that it give you something to admire while doing other things on your information processing system .

Open Range

The Open Range is the only farm available from the start of Rusty ’s retirement . It is a basic grassy domain with no extra environmental features like rivers or tree . I would recommend dumbfound with this farm if you want to all custom-make your farm without worrying about river layouts or the location of trees .

Flower Swamp

The Flower Swamp is fundamentally the Open Range with winding rivers . The rivers have float flowers matching those found in the well . The skillful thing about this map is that Water Bots can apply river to irrigate planted seminal fluid ! This means that players can use resources for more harvest , houses , or even land expansions instead of building wells .

To unlock the Flower Swamp , you must buy all of the Open Range farm ’s landed estate expansions . Afterward , a notification will pop up informing you that you ’ve unlocked a new farm .

Sandy Desert

The Sandy Desert is incisively as the name imply — a sand - overlay wasteland with cacti , animate being skulls , and small patches of grass . I found this to be the hard farm in the game because plant can shrink away if not take care of quickly .

Oftentimes , I would turn back to my screen to find a dustup or two of plants had wilted , forcing me to replant them . If you revel a westerly aesthetic , you ’ll really like this farm ! ensure to either check on it more ofttimes or build more Bots to take care of your crops . To unlock the Sandy Desert , you must fully enlarge a Flower Swamp farm .

Blossom Forest

Blossom Forest is thoroughgoing for players who enjoy cherry trees and autumn leaves . The trees are more of a rose - amber color than a complete pink , but I think it adds to the rustic charm of the game . The Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree are the primary environmental feature so you will demand to build wells around the map to take attention of your crop . To unlock the Blossom Forest , play through the Desert Sands farm and unlock all of its expansion .

Desert Oasis

The Desert Oasis is exactly like Desert Sands but with the addition of pools of water system ! It ’s not only gorgeous , but it makes the probability of crops wilt much little due to the abundant sources of water . This farm unlock with Blossom Forest after fully expand the Desert Sands farm .

How to expand farms in Rusty’s Retirement

As mentioned previously , unlocking any farm after Open Range requires you to fully lucubrate the previous farm . The actual unconscious process of this is easy but meter - waste because of how many supernumerary Parts it cost . When you start a new farm , you ’ll notice that scrolling through to the left and veracious ( or top and bottom , if you ’re on a vertical farm ) reveals plots of land with price on them .

Once you have enough Spare Parts , penetrate on the price and approve the leverage to unlock the plot of Edwin Herbert Land . A red and yellow trilateral with a mordant exclamation mark will appear in the centre to show that the land has been buy .

Once you ’ve paid for it , either Rusty or Haiku will extend the farm to cover the purchased land .
