With no expected weapon system rebalancing , it ’s safe to say this is the final Battlefield 2042 guns tier list .
Battlefield 2042 Weapons Tier List
I ’ve divide the weapons into five different tiers — S , A , B , C , and D — from best to worst . Each tier features guns from different family that I think belong in that class base on the following description .
S-tier Weapons
Even with no attachments equipped , you could eclipse your opponents effortlessly because these arm have a dissipated TTK ( metre - to - kill ) and an well-heeled - to - controller recoil plot , making them the good of the best . If you were look one of your favorite weapons and ca n’t detect it , you will most belike observe it in the A - tier up tilt . Pick any artillery from the above mesa and you ’ll be all jell to startle command lobbies .
A-tier Weapons
Most Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns ( SMGs ) fall under these two tiers as these are various weapon system classes inBattlefield 2042 . These gun are to the full machinelike , playfulness to use , and well-situated to master for most players . to boot , I ’ve let in some expectant Shotguns ( Tactical ) , DMRs ( Marksman ) , and Sniper Rifles that are almost on equality with the S - tier single .
B-tier Weapons

In Battlefield 2042 , it ’s a general rule of thumb that the new guns are ranking compare to the ones transferred from older games ( i.e. vault arm ) .
C-tier Weapons
The Assault Rifles & LMGs have here are from the previous games ' weapon vaults and just ca n’t vie against their BF 2042 counterparts . This is due to short TTK , mediocre control , and enormous visual recoil shake . Do n’t await these guns to equal the top - tier loadouts , but it is fine to seek out the classic Battlefield weapons now and then when you get bored using the meta . Of all the gunman list in this tier , the M16A3 has to be my favorite not because of its execution but how it feels .
D-tier Weapons
In the D - level , I ’ve include weapons the community of interests has deemed useless ( myself include ) . It ’s simply because these are n’t fun to use in my thought as you ’ll have a severe time pose kills and landing shots ( especially the GVT 45 - 70 Tactical and SVD DMR ) . The RPK-74 M and TYPE 88 LMGs still can be used but like I said , you have much good option to pick out from .
